Welcome to the Military Training Leader Association (MTLA). This organization was created to pay homage to the Men and Women who have dedicated their careers to leading the future enlisted leaders of the United States Air Force.The MTL is responsible for constantly enforcing high standards of conduct, accountability and discipline for Airmen completing technical training. The amount of responsibility is great...the challenge is even greater. At the end of the day, you will know that you have truly made a difference!



Military Training Leaders are represented throughout the United States Air Force at 4 Training Wings and more than 38 training locations. The larger locations being Sheppard AFB, Keesler AFB, Goodfellow AFB, JBSA-Lackland and the Presidio of Monterey.
The mission of a Military Training Leader: Adapt NPS airmen to military life and provide the AF with highly trained, motivated, self-disciplined, and physically fit airmen with exceptional military bearing.



Always leading from the front, the Military Training Leader is the first-line supervisor for technical training Airmen. His/Her influence will play a role in the Airmens future in the United States Air Force. The MTLA is a non-profit organization that is based out of San Antonio, Texas. Founded in 2009, the vision was to create a organization where past, present and future Military Training Leaders could communicate and stay connected with information, updates and continued traditions. The MTLA and its 600+ members represent over 3,500 years of experience in the development, mentorship and counsel of the United States Air Force's greatest asset; It's Airmen! Together, these men and women have touched Officers and Enlisted leaders of the USAF since 1973.
